“Chinatown”

I am in love with this track.

It’s so uplifting and makes me want to dance.

…However, a quick google search of this track might lead you to someone else’s soundcloud profile where they did a mashup of Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep” with “Chinatown.”

Uh.

No.

For the love of god, if you’re going to do a mashup, at LEAST make sure the songs share a similar key/have similar chord progressions! Or else you end up with a clusterfuck of a track. Good grief.

I often wondered what it …

I often wondered what it would be like to spend the rest of my life with the world on pause. To live out the rest of my life in two fractions of a second. To die of old age and then have time continue. The young me gone, and a dead, old man in my place.

I have the two qualities you require to seek absolute truth: I am brilliant, and unloved.

THE best Gangnam Style Dance cover.

From the uploader’s (Mike Song) comments:

“This is the first thing I have ever taught my mom. She is 60 and has some serious natural talent. So… thank you PSY for bringing me and my mom together through your awesome music…”

Seriously. This is just all sorts of awesome.

Pressure

Pressure (Alesso remix) – Nadia Ali, Starkillers & Alex Kenji

Yeah, it’s played a lot, it’s popular, just about anyone even remotely familiar with the scene knows this mix, but I just…really like it. The chorus (if it’s even called a chorus. The drop?) connotates some kind of emotion or feeling that just seems to mesh with how I’ve been feeling lately. Desperation. Hope. Stress. Regret. Relief. Peace.

I find the overall sound to be somewhat cathartic, I guess.
